A man has been in charged in relation to a traffic accident that led to the death of his 19-year-old brother, last week.

The driver is facing negligent causing death, in addition to other traffic citations including not having a valid drivers license.

This was confirmed by Deputy Police Commissioner, Auapaau Logoitino Filipo in response to questions from Radio Polynesia.

The traffic accident occurred in Fasito’o last week and its alleged the driver was speeding. It was also confirmed the driver did not have a valid drivers license.

Auapaau said the accused is out on bail and is scheduled to appear on the 4 April, for mention.
