Bail hearing has been set for Assistant Electoral Commissioner, Afualo Darryl Mapu on Wednesday.

He's been in the custody of Police since December 28, last year after his residence was raided by Police.

Afualo and Marie Fanueli are both facing six drug related charges.

According to the charging document first charge is possession of narcotics whereas five baggies of methamphetamine or ice, weighing at 1.6 grams was discovered; possession of utensils in relation to two glass pipes commonly use to smoke ice; possession of unlawful weapon; a 9 millimetre pistol; 22 pistol semi automatic; 22 pistol revolver; magnum pistol revolver.

Other charge is possession of unregistered firearms of a gauge shot gun and 22 rifle semi automatic; possession of unlawful live ammunitions and possession of ammunition without permit.

Afoul is represented by Tofilau M. Leone Sua-Mailo while prosecuting is Lupematasila Iliganoa Atoa.
