Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mata’afa says while women’s leadership in the Pacific has a poor record of the number of women in Parliament, but women’s leadership doesn’t equal just parliamentarians and high chiefs, it's much more than that.

The Prime Minister was the guest speaker on the PACMAS Journalist Masterclass consisting of close to 20 journalists from around the Pacific, where Radio Polynesia was selected as a participant for Samoa.

During a zoom session, Fiame spoke on a number of issues and cited the role of women in the Pacific are instrumental in organizing community projects and other public interest activities.
