The people implicated in the Vaigaga raid early Wednesday morning have been identified as Junior Pritchard 35 of Vaigaga and Luatuanu’u; Henry Tyrell 31 of Malie and Taga; Alapati Hunt 33 of Vaiusu and Ah Chew Samuelu 20 of Vatele and Faleula.

This is outline in the charge sheets for the accused, obtained by Radio Polynesia.

All four are charged under the Narcotics Act, 1967 with possession of narcotics and penalty for unlawful supply or possession of narcotics.

Each charge carries a jail term of up to seven years and of a fine of up to $5,000.

They are scheduled to appear in the Supreme Court next month.

The accused were arrested two days ago following a police raid where eight baggies of ice were found along with more than $4,000 cash.

At a press conference with the media, Acting Police Commissioner Leiataualesa Samuel Afamasaga said aside from the drugs, they also confiscated and a numerous of electronics, they suspect are connected to a number of burglaries in the Country.

Smart TV’s; cell phones and laptops were also take into the custody of police from the house raided.
