The Ministry of Police and Prisons are clamping down on vehicles using fake NEOC passes, in doing, so they are checking all vehicles that carry the National Emergency & Operations Committee Authorised official passes.

Deputy Commissioner, Papali'i Monalisa Keti told Radio Polynesia, the strict enforcement comes after a vehicle was spotted by police using a fake NEOC pass to drive around.

As first reported by Radio Polynesia on Wednesday, the man and woman in the vehicle have been charged in relation to drugs paraphernalia allegedly found in their possession.

Papaplii also reminded the public the are enforcing the using of zoning areas to assure that people restock at the stores within their jurisdiction.
