The Samoa Land Corporation is clamping down on their clients that are not fulfilling their obligations under the lease agreement signed with the Government, when they procured land from the Corporation.
In a public notice issued, the SLC has threatened to publicise the names of their clients and what they owe to the Government in terms of leases.
Furthermore the SLC says they will take legal action against their client and take them to court.
According to the Samoa Land Corporation notice, those that signed leases with the Government have a month to clear their arrears otherwise the Government will take necessary actions such as revoking the lease the taking back Government properties.
