The Ministry of Police arrested seven people on Friday as a result of a drug raid at a family home in Vaitele.

Police seized hard drugs, such as methamphetamine or ice; marijuana joints and drugs paraphernalia, as the result of a search warrant executed on Friday.

Five men and two women are now in the custody of the Police.

This was confirmed by Deputy Police Commissioner Auapaau Logoitino Filipo in response to questions from Radio Polynesia.

Auapaau declined to comment pertaining to identity of the suspects arrested, and other paraphernalia uncovered.

This is the same residence that police raided in July.

During that raid, Police seized drugs, drug paraphernalia, guns, and cash worth more than $20,000.
