Effective immediately all passengers from American Samoa will be quarantined for between 14 to 21 days as determined by the Ministry of Health, depending on the COVID-19 tests.

Due to limited quarantine sites and rooms available Samoa can only accept and accommodate a maximum of 40 passengers per week.

This is outlined in the latest travel advisory endorsed by the Director General of Health, Leausa Dr Take Naseri.

Those who wish to enter Samoa are advised to communicate straight to the Samoa Health Authorities at least 21 days before planned travel for clarification partnering to the travel advice.

All passengers traveling from outside of American Samoa must spend 21 days or more in the US territory before traveling to Samoa otherwise entrance will be denied.

All travellers will be assessed on a case by case before being granted permission to travel to Samoa. Only Samoan residents and citizens are allowed to return.

All children below 12 years of age are not permitted to travel unless they have completed prescribed two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine and that 12 years old and above are now require to be fully vaccinated before entering Samoa.
