The construction of the $7 million tala Samoa National Provident Fund state of the art building in Savaii is complete, but only the installation of the elevator that is delaying the official opening.

This was confirmed by the SNPF Chief Executive Officer, Pauli Prince Suhren in response to questions from Radio Polynesia regarding the status of the building that’s located at Salelologa the township of Savai’i.

He said “the SNPF building in Savaii is completed.

“One final thing remaining is the installation of the elevator – a specialist is arriving on the flight from New Zealand this Sunday (March 6th) and when he is out of quarantine he will attend to installation.

When that is done – we will open the building,” said Pauli.

Built by Schwarz Construction, this project broke ground two years ago.
